AdSem has invented and developed high temperature Silicon and Germanium NTC thermistors as well as an industrial technology for their production. AdSem opens a new era in temperature sensing industry by bringing up semiconductor technology into the 70-years old market of ceramic NTC thermistors.
There are fundamental scientific reasons for new Si and Ge thermistors to be the most sensitive and
highly interchangeable over working temperature range.
Their features also are:
Widest temperature range;
Micron Form Factor;
Reproducibility of production technology;
Utilization of microelectronic technology & packaging techniques
New doping technology of Ge and Si, developed by AdSem, allows producing unique low-temperature thermistors with wider operating temperature than any cryogenic thermistors, higher sensitivity in any selected temperature range down to 1mK, higher interchangeability at low- and ultra – low temperature and lower price.
For Neutron and X-ray Optics we developed superior technology for production of large Ge and Si mosaic crystalline monochromators. Our monochromators provide the high reflectivity for slow neutrons, gamma-rays and/or X-rays and any mosaicity value up to 1 arc degree.
The areas of our expertise and new development are also:
Novel PTC & NTC semiconductor thermistors with extended working temperatures;
High resistivity silicon;
Radiation technology and neutron transmutation doping of semiconductors;
Novel nuclear methods for non-destructive selection of high quality large crystals;
Advanced semiconductor nuclear detectors;

Anton Paar TriTec SA (previously CSM Instruments) has been leader in the development of instruments for surface mechanical properties characterization for over 30 years in both research and industrial fields.
CSM Instruments develops, manufactures and sells instruments to characterize mechanical properties of surfaces. We have been the world leader in this market for more than 30 years, first under the name of LSRH then CSEM.
CSM Instruments provides equipment that allows the mechanical characterization of a wide range of surfaces and bulk materials. Adhesion of paints, optical thin films or hard coatings can be defined using one of our Scratch Testers. These span the nano to the macro range to analyze the widest range of materials. Dynamic testing measurements can be performed to define not only the hardness of the material, but also to evaluate the plastic and elastic deformation, the elasticity module, creep and much more. For wear testing we offer the Tribometer, based on the pin-on-disc principle that operates both in the Micro and Nano regime; to record the frictional coefficient and measure the wear volume. Other equipment measures film thickness. Additionally, CSM provides three dimensional viewing capabilities of sample surfaces under most testing regimes.

For over 80 years Brookfield Engineering Laboratories has been the world’s leading manufacturer of Viscometers and Rheometers for laboratory and on-line process control applications. The reputation of the Brookfield viscometer is built on more than just a superior scientific principle. When you use a Brookfield, you are joining thousands of people who have made it a World Standard of viscosity measurement. There are more Brookfield viscometers used in industries worldwide than any other viscometer. Your associates, suppliers or customers probably own a Brookfield. Many Society and Industrial specifications describe the use of a Brookfield viscometer. Laboratory Viscometers and Rheometers include Dial Reading (Analog) and Digital Display Model of which several are Programmable. On-line Process Control Viscometers include Probe, In-Tank, In-Line and flow through models.
All Brookfield viscometers employ the well-known principle of rotational viscometry; they measure viscosity by sensing the torque required to rotate a spindle at constant speed while immersed in a fluid. The torque is proportional to the viscous drag on the immersed spindle, and thus to the viscosity of the fluid.
