Researcher and lecturer at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Materials Science & Engineering. Most of the author’s research activity achievements are in the field of biomaterials being involved in preliminary studies for the foundation and development of new biocompatible materials based on titanium, zirconium, cobalt and magnesium alloys. Her publications focus on new biomaterials and advanced characterization of various compounds regarding their morphological, physical/chemical a respectively their behaviour. As a consequence of the scientific and research activity carried out in the biomaterials field, a number of over 22 articles have been published, of which 5 are indexed in journals with an impact factor > 1.00, 1 book and 1 international chapter book. She is involved in Organizing Committee of European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation – EUROINVENT, and International Conference on Innovative Research, since 2015, which gathers more events: invention and research projects exhibition, conference on innovative research and book and art salon. She also is on the Committee Board of the European Journal of Materials Science and Engineering (www.ejmse.tuiasi.ro) and carries out activities in 2 national projects as director and in 4 projects as member (2 national and 2 international).
