About the Editors

Dr. B. Nandi Ganguly (from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, KOLKATA, INDIA), has a long experience of research, as well as teaching in post graduate courses. She also has collaborated with internationally known senior scientists of reputed institutions.

Initially, she worked on radio-chemical separations of metallic species using surface active agents with high selectivity owing to their chemical reactive mechanisms, there by specializing in micellar and reverse-micellar as well as in micro-emulsion processes. Later, her interest grew up on studying the subtleties of molecular association, through various techniques. But mainly thereafter, her continued interest was sustained on using positron annihilation techniques as chemical probe which led to studies of various kinds of intriguing molecular processes in liquids. Thereafter, her interest continued on studying various kinds of nano-porous materials, polymers, hydrogen bonded supra-structures, as well as nano materials using various state-of-the-art techniques and has ventured into the myriads of interdisciplinary research. Of late, her interest has been focused on studying conjugated nano-metal oxide particles under physiological conditions, for utilization in bio-medical diagnostic as well as therapeutic processes thus fostering and developing anti- cancer research applications.
