Dynamic piezoelectric response of cellular micro-structured PDMS piezo-electret material as a function of polymeric reticulation ratio

Abstract. This paper reports the design and the micro-fabrication by a low-cost process of a new micro-structured PDMS material referred as piezo-electret material. This material presents a very low Young’s modulus compared to the conventional piezoelectric materials that facilitates its integration in wearable devices applications. Studies of the inverse piezoelectricity through the dielectric resonance spectroscopy allow determining the piezoelectric parameters of the micro-structured material. The polymer crosslinking effect on these properties is also studied.
