About the editor

Dr. Charanjeet Singh is a Professor of Electronics and Communication at Lovely Professional University Phagwara Punjab India. His research area (15 years including teaching) encompasses tunable microwave ferrite absorbers/DRA/filters in GHz region, static V-I characteristics, sensors. Dr. Charanjeet Singh received his Ph.D degree and Bachelor of Technology (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar Punjab in 2008 and 1996 respectively, Master Degree in the same discipline from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in 2001. He has guided 3 Ph.D students and 6 Master students in the aforementioned fields and published 43 SCI papers in refereed journals with Scopus h-index 13 and 505 Scopus Citations. He is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from International Union of Radio Science (URSI) at the conference held in Toyama, Japan in 2010. He has received the outstanding reviewer award from Elsevier Journal of Alloys and Compounds in 2017 and best teacher award from Indian Society for Technical Education. He has received travel grants from Govt. organizations like Department of Science and Technology (DST), Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for attending conferences in Spain (2015), France (2012) and Turkey (2011). He has research collaborations with Dr. Yang Bai: Beijing University China, Dr. Sanjay Mishra: University of Memphis USA, Dr. Maceij Jaorszweski: Wroclaw University Poland, Dr. Ebtesam Ateia: Cairo University, Dr. Kohout Jaroslav: Charles University Czech Republic and Dr. Dariusz Bochenek: Silesia University Poland.
