Metal-Organic Frameworks for Wastewater Treatment

Luyu Wang, Junkuo Gao

With the increasing demand of human beings for clean water, wastewater treatment technology has received extensive attention and has achieved rapid development. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been introduced into the research of water pollution control, and gradually become one of the effective strategies in the field of wastewater treatment. In this chapter, we summarize the results of a large number of literature in recent years on the adsorption of pollutants in wastewater by MOFs, including decontamination strategies and practical applications.
