Aremco’ Equipment Division manufactures a series of high reliability equipment for the electronics, ceramics and metallurgical industries including: (1)Screen Printers for thick-film microelectronics, liquid crystal displays, brazing, and photovoltaics; and (2) Furnaces for heat treating, assaying and powder metallurgy.
Aremco’s advanced material division is a leader in the development and production of technical ceramics, adhesives, coatings, sealants and potting compounds for applications to 3200 ºF. These materials are used throughout industry in the design of sensors, electrical components and analytical instruments. Industries served include automotive, aerospace, chemical processing, metallurgical, power generation and semiconductor.
Aremco’s Crystalbond and Wafer-Mount adhesives are ideal materials for temporarily mounting products that require dicing, polishing, and other machining processes. These adhesives exhibit high bond strength and adhere readily to metals, glass and ceramics. When processing is complete, reheating and cleaning with one of Aremco’s environmentally friendly cleaning agents removes these adhesives.

Reliable analytical data is provided via the precise evaluation of static and dynamic contact angles, the surface free energy of solids and the surface and interfacial tension of liquids. Last but not least, the recent, rapid, advancements in nanotechnology and biotechnology have been possible, only, through an exact knowledge of wetting processes in the sub-microscopic level.

DFD INSTRUMENTS develop, design and manufacture the PAT adhesion testers, which are high precision pull-off type measuring instruments for adhesion and bond strength testing of all types of films, coatings, laminates, adhesives, metals and other materials. The adhesion testing technology, based on the concept Dynamic Force Distribution, ensures completely reproducible test results regardless of the testing circumstances like e.g. the shape of the substrate. Also, with this test equipment laboratory results are always comparable with field test results. The unique design of PAT ensures total test reliability: The test results are not operator-dependent. The testing machines are supplied with attachments ranging from the 1 kN micro-adhesion tester (typically for testing on very small components or areas) up to the fully automatic 80kN tester (mainly used for metal coatings). The equipment is either manually operated or fully automatic. Logging and storing of the test results can be done with the Windows-based digital testing module.
