Axometrics is the industry leader in full Mueller matrix polarization testing. Our core measurement technologies measure all possible polarization properties (the full Mueller matrix) of a sample, and key polarization parameters (polarizer properties, retarder properties, depolarization properties) are reported to the operator.
The AxoScan system measures polarization properties in a single point of the sample in only 30 ms! AxoScan is the industry standard for excellence in LCD film and panel testing, and finds many other applications in testing optical components, biological samples.
The AxoStep is the industry’s first Mueller Matrix imaging microscope. The system creates a full 2D map of all possible polarization properties in areas ranging from 9 mm x 7 mm down to 40 µm x 30 µm.

More than a quarter-century ago, Tom Baur, researcher for the National Center for Atmospheric Research, needed a solution that resulted in his manufacturing his own custom Pockels cells. With that flagship product, Meadowlark Optics came to be, establishing a world standard for innovative, ultrahigh-quality polarization optics.
In the twenty-first century, Meadowlark products help position customers worldwide to pioneer their own innovations. These include our advances in liquid crystals with one-of-a-kind polarization controllers and the Liquid Crystal Stokes Polarimeter. In other areas, we measure our waveplate product line to subnanometer precision. One thousandth of a wave of retardance is our standard accuracy.
