Advanced Microscopy Techniques (AMT) has devoted its design and manufacturing efforts toward the goal of providing excellence in digital camera imaging systems for the TEM.
These systems are sold directly to customers, through domestic and international representatives, and through TEM vendors. With an installed based of over 1100 camera systems, AMT has developed a substantial local and international infrastructure in optics, electronics, software, sales and support. No single camera or camera configuration covers every restriction imposed by the TEM or by the user. Life and Material Sciences applications can require similar camera imaging configurations, but must be located in differing positions on the TEM . We are proud to have pioneered the use of high resolution RESTM phosphors, which minimize electron scattering effects and provide superior sensitivity. Advanced Research Systems, Inc. was started in 1986 by Ravi Bains to provide cryogenic solutions for low temperature research. ARS has evolved as a world class manufacturer of closed cycle cryocoolers and laboratory cryogenic systems. ARS is the only major supplier of laboratory cryostats that also manufactures 4 K closed cycle cryocoolers for its use.
Manufacturing our own cryocoolers allows us to seamlessly adapt our cryostats for challenging applications where the cryocooler must be customized for a specific application.
